Acceptance of Terms
By downloading and using the Peakful mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App. The App is operated by Friendo Apps Technologies - FZCO, a free zone company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, referred to below as "we," "us," or "our." We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
Description of the App
Peakful is an iOS application that asks you a small set of questions each day and shows where your answers place you relative to a wider population. The App includes:
- A daily round of questions across categories such as money, work, habits and experience
- A percentile result for each answer, shown with the source it is derived from
- A history of your past results and saved cards
- Home screen and lock screen widgets
- Local reminders you schedule yourself
The App requires no account. Your answers are stored on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Information, Not Advice
Peakful presents statistical comparisons for interest and self-understanding. It is not financial, investment, medical, psychological, or legal advice, and it is not a diagnosis or an assessment of any kind. Percentiles describe populations, not individuals, and a figure drawn from one population may not describe your situation. Do not make financial, health or personal decisions on the basis of a rank shown in the App. If a result concerns you, speak to a qualified professional.
Accuracy of Sources
Every figure in the App names the dataset, study or report it comes from, along with the population it describes and the year it was collected. We select sources in good faith and cite them so you can verify them yourself, but we do not warrant that any third-party source is accurate, current or free of error, and populations, definitions and methods differ between sources. If you believe a figure is misread or out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
Subscriptions & Payments
Peakful Pro
Peakful offers an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the full feature set. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. The exact price, billing period, and any introductory or trial terms are presented to you on the App Store payment screen before you confirm payment, and those displayed terms apply to your purchase. Prices may vary by region and currency and may change over time.
Introductory & Trial Offers
We may offer introductory pricing or a trial period to new subscribers. The availability, price, and duration of any such offer are shown at the point of purchase. Apple's "one introductory offer per subscription group" rule applies. If you do not cancel before an introductory or trial period ends, your subscription automatically converts to the standard price shown at the time of purchase.
Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Peakful. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access until that date.
Refunds
Purchases are billed and managed by Apple, not by us. Refund requests are handled by Apple: visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support through your App Store account.
Your Answers
You retain all rights to what you enter into the App. It is stored on your device and never transmitted to us. We claim no license over it, and because we never receive it, we cannot recover it for you if you erase it or remove the App.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it, not to redistribute or resell the App or its content, and not to use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
Intellectual Property
The App, its design, its name and its logo are our property and are protected by intellectual property law. The underlying statistics are drawn from third-party sources, which remain the property of their publishers and are cited in the App accordingly.
Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple In-App Purchase for payment and RevenueCat for subscription validation. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. By using the App, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE. Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@peakful.app to informally resolve any dispute.
